Housing policy in England

Housing issues are very high on the Government’s agenda. Housing policy is particularly relevant while we go through a period of restrictions on borrowing, falling house prices, slowing down in building and rising repossessions. But the need to have decent, affordable housing was a fundamental of government policy even before the current crisis.

There are five main aspects of current Government Policy in England:
